Who we are

Ideafy is operated by Ozan Gencer as a solo-founder product. When we say “we”, “us”, or “Ideafy” in this policy, that is who we mean.

What we collect

• Account data: email address and hashed password, stored in Supabase (hosted in EU).
• Profile data: display name, if you choose to set one.
• Billing data: processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Usage data: cards, projects, and board content you create inside the Cloud edition. The Solo edition stores everything locally on your machine — we have no access to it.
• Cookies: a single session cookie for authentication. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies.

Why we collect it

• To authenticate you and keep your session alive.
• To provide the Cloud Team features (shared pool, team board).
• To process your subscription payment through Stripe.

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Period.

Where your data lives

Cloud data is stored in Supabase (EU region) and served via Railway (EU — europe-west4). Payments are processed by Stripe (US/EU, PCI-DSS compliant).

Your rights

Under GDPR and equivalent regulations, you have the right to:

• Access your data — email us and we will export it.
• Delete your account and all associated data — available directly from the app settings, or by emailing us.
• Port your data — the Solo edition is a local SQLite file you already own. Cloud data can be exported on request.
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

Cookies

We use a single, strictly necessary authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies. Because this cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function, no consent banner is required under GDPR.

Third-party services

• Supabase — authentication and cloud database (EU).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Railway — application hosting (EU).
• GitHub — open-source code hosting and desktop app distribution.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and notify active users by email.
